Kelly M. Smith
After graduating law school in 2010, Kelly Smith began her career as corporate counsel for a credit union, gaining experience in regulatory compliance, foreclosure and collections. In 2015, she joined a multistate default servicing firm, where she handled a significant caseload of contested matters through all stages of litigation. Kelly’s blend of in-house and law firm experience has provided her with a unique perspective on the challenges faced by mortgage servicers and their investors.
Kelly joined Phillip A. Norman, P.C. as Managing Partner of the Wisconsin office in 2019. She is committed to providing the firm’s clients with excellent service, sound advice and competent representation. While Kelly enjoys finding creative solutions to complex problems, she will not hesitate to aggressively advocate in the courtroom when necessary. She understands the value of concise but thorough communication and strives to keep clients informed of important legal developments.
Outside of work, Kelly is a wife and mother of energetic twin toddlers; an active member of her church; a classically trained violinist turned fiddler; a travel enthusiast; and—of course—a Packers and Brewers fan.
